Wolds Run 2007
Wolds Run 2007
On Sunday 6th May 2007 the Gold Star Club took part in the Lincolnshire Wolds Run.
This is an event to raise funds for the lymphoma charity and is supported by Mortons Media. Everyone meets up at Mortons site in Horncastle and then goes off for a run around the Lincolnshire Wolds, stopping off at a pub for refreshments on the way.
Then it's back to Horncastle for a pig roast (see photo - Tony chewing the fat!!), prize giving and raffle etc. This year there were around 650 bikes of all shapes and sizes from the very ancient to just off the production line - a really good turnout.
The display of Goldies was excellent with 20+ club members lining up for Nigel Clark (of Old Bike Mart) to take photos.
